This hand scraper is used to help maintain the edge of the ice surface along the base of the boards for an ice rink. It utilizes a small portion of blade cut off of a regular ice resurfacing machine shaving blade. There are two versions of this scraper. Heavy duty and regular duty. The heavy duty model is made of thicker materials and weighs about 3 times as much as the regular duty unit.
